Springfield-based O'Reilly Development Company announced plans late last week for two new senior living communities: a $23.4 million development in Joplin and a $30.8 million development in Wentzville.
Construction is expected to begin on both projects later this year, with completion estimated for early 2018.
Both developments will be "continuum of care" communities, with neighborhoods designated independent living, assisted living, and "memory care," according to the company. The Joplin project will have 146 units total, compared to 136 in Wentzville.
"I would say we have a unique model, with the independent living," Denise K. Heintz, partner and director of operations and development, told the News-Leader Monday.
